Thank you for your support of Empowering Community Leaders Network, Inc. (ECLN). Team ECLN leans forward in igniting awareness, confidence and excellence in middle school girls because of supporters like you.
Our premier leadership development program, Sisters Wholesome Aspiring toward Greatness (SWAG) has been making a difference in Frederick County, Maryland for over five years! Yes, for five years we have been molding emerging community leaders who have learned about a truth--our world is indeed global and there is opportunity to make a positive impact at home and abroad!
In the last several months, COVID-19 has certainly taken center stage in dramatically changing our lifestyles. Most of us have a new found appreciation of what is most important to us--Family, Friends, Community. As you are aware, we had been planning and working toward another great annual celebration/fundraising luncheon. We had looked forward to featuring the many successes of this year's S.W.A.G. participants.
The ECLN Board and leadership enthusiastically support Governor Larry Hogan and all of leadership in doing what is necessary in attending to the threat of COVID-19. We applaud the efforts of leadership in our homeland in waging the good fight for public health safety for our state, region nation and the world. We also join in prayer for those who are grieving the loss of loved ones who have succumbed to this deadly virus.
The luncheon scheduled for April 2020 has been re-imagined to be a virtual fundraiser set for August 29, 2020. We look forward to joining you in fellowship at 12pm EDT for our program; please note that our silent auction will run from 9am to 5pm EDT on August 29, 2020.
